does the scholarship screw up your centrelink payments?

The commonwealth one doesnt, im sure. But im not too sure about the other access scholarship.

I got the Access Scholarship. 4000 a year... sweeetttt.
I rather the money be sent straight to my bank account, avoids any hassle if the cheque gets lost in the mail etc.

I got a physics entry scholarship-- but would rather -not- do adv physics next semester (it's too HARD!). Does anyone know if I'll still get the second half if I drop to regular physics?

I initially put it into the bank to pay for next semester but then purchased my new PC instead.

you can use it for anything you like. They dont give it to you until after HECS is due for the semester anyways, which would indicate that they dont expect you to spend it on HECS..
i bought a laptop with mine last year, and this year i spent it on textbooks etc and paying off my union fees which i had put on my credit card...
