I just read that whole thread... instead of using Arab, use middle eastern... Although they are technically in either Asia or Africa, that region is called the middle east.

i agree that persians seem to be the exception to the rule...but it seems that its the fairer skinned arabs that seem to be the group that perform poorly with regards to academic achievments. one of my best friends happen to be persian and she studies her ass off like there ain't no tomorrow
