this is starting to piss me off... sometimes for no reason, when i visit *.cjb.net sites, even though i dont click anything, my default homepage changes to www.searchwww.com, which pisses me offf... is there a way for me to block this cos its pissing me off

theyre sort of like viruses that open up browsers and search sites or porno sites when you go online, like popups.

Spyware

hijacked!! happened to me too, stupid cjb sites
it takes all your stuff and makes them searchwww, and you get popups when everything is closed, so your playing your warcraft or whatever and the popups ruin the game for everyone cause youre constantly alt-tabbing to close them

gotta get 'hijackthis' from google and you can get rid of all the searchwww crap

btw, i tried adaware and spybot and it didnt work, even with the newest updates, so hijackthis is the way to go

The usually happen when your security settings in IE are set quite low, and those stupid dialogs popping up asking you if you wanna install a fantastic plug in that will allow us to spy on your ass it's stupid.

Hey new version of msnplus changed the installer (i think) so you are not installing their 'sponsor program' without knowing... But i still went custom install and disabled it.
(I SO love the Monkey Island Insult game that is built into msnplus! type /insult and if the other person has msnplus... its sweet...)

yeah be careful with hijackthis, dont delete windows stuff, etc, just the things that say searchwww

don't go to anymore cjb.net sites...

I never do.. if I do.. I have my fingers on the "alt-f4" button ready to close evrything...

Isn't that what you do when your parents walk into the room? Since you're always downloading porno's now.

CJB.net is just a redirector, and might have one or two popups. I suggest getting the google toolbar (toolbar.google.com) to block any popups.
