Wouldn't 10 be B.. A lower accounts receivable ratio means you get your accounts receivable quicker?

Global sourcing homie

It can't be economies of scale because economies of scale is achieving lower costs through expansion. So it's definitely A

A high accounts receivable turnover ratio means that you have a strong credit collection policy and do well collecting cash quickly from accounts.

^ Straight from Google. I'm afraid you have just lost a mark

Isn't 10 B?

As a lower accounts receivable turnover is better - less number of days to receive cash

Yeah, here's my argument for D:

SYLLABUS DEFINES A.R.T ratio as SALES/ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE right?

NOT 365/A.R.T. ratio.

If ratio is higher, lets say ratio is 6.

365/6 = 61 days.

Lets say ratio is lower, lets say ratio is now 3.

365/3 = 122 days.

Higher ratio = less days --> more efficient debt collection.

FROM BUSINESS IN ACTION:

ARTR - INTERPRETATION OF RATIO RESULTS:
High turnover ratios indicate the business has efficient debt collection. Pg 317.

About 3 people from my school was like ''isn't lower better?'' and Í'm like ''guys... you don't do 365 divide by the ratio....''
