hey guyyys,
if i'm doing an essay outline (which i am doing) and in the outlines, I need to sort of reference/mention my sources, how do I do that with an e-journal that has four authors?
that said, i only have like 6/10 sources for this outline. sigh.

Some have a student outline guide thing on their faculty website which might halp!
I'm fucking terrible at footnoting and referencing etc, even though i spend hours trying to follow the guides they always find something wrong.

Alternatively i googled the MLA referencing system and the first page that came up had a way to reference books with 4 authors but i dont know how reliable it is.

For the ENGL1000 essay task, which is the one I suspect you're doing, we were told we could use MLA, Chicago or APA. I just emailed my tutor to ask if we were allowed to use Harvard, which is a slight variation upon the APA/Chicago styles. So yeah, don't feel restricted to the crappy MLA system.

Hey Neb, did you get that essay outline in your tut class for english task?
Cos I'm confused with how the outline sometimes references with the last name and year of publication and other times the author's full name? Is there any distinction or they just did that to mess with first years?

I did but I don't think I kept it.
The department of English wouldn't be so bad if they showed some damn consistency with their preferred style but they seem to be all over the place.
