Hey i just got a quick question, I've already passed MKTG1002 does anybody know if i actually have to bother showing up for the test or can I just skip it and take my pass. No before the know it alls ask how I could have passed without knowing my second assignment mark, all i need is 11.5/28 for it and I know that its easily a credit assignment, possibly even a distinction.
I'm sure the policy is that you have to attend/hand in ALL assessments including exams in order to pass a unit.

Don't be silly! Do the exam.

Also, you should never be too overconfident over your essay marks.

Which topic is that for? I went through all the optics questions over the weekend (there's 36 of them in that notes thing from the copy centre), seemed pretty comprehensive.

EM is a different story though, i guess just go through all those questions in the aux. slides he has on the web. Solid State stuff is just those questions from the lecture slides...not much material altogether though :/

I think i'm just going to focus on 2 topics for the exam though (optics and solid state devices) and try and wing the 3rd one.
optics is decent. EM is just terrible...

Hey SP, yes I am, but we haven't got it yet. It will be available from the 10th and then we have a week to do it.

Re: Semester 2 Chatter Thread

Holy fuck I just had to come on BOS and say this but I promise I will stay off for the rest of the week...I don't have to sit a sixth exam!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!! I'm not quite satisfied with the rate of study I'm going through, but it seems I will only be behind by a lecture or two so it's not too bad considering past semesters I didn't start seriously studying till Wed of stuvac or thereabouts.

I have covered depression, schizophrenia, anxiety, bipolar and looks like I will finish oncology tonight. And I'm glad I received (or rather, a lack of) notification that I didn't have to sit this sixth exam. I'm hoping it will hype me up enough that I can get started on dermatology. Or if I'm not feeling up to it I can start obs & gyn. Choices, choices.

Anyhoo, I shall be getting myself back to study--woohoo for no sixth exam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D:D:D:D:D

Re: Semester 2 Chatter Thread

Got some marks back. All for marketing communications:

Group Presentation: 30.5/35
Executive Diary: 10/10
Buying Game: 12.4/15 (a bit disappointed in this, as we did a shitload for work in it, and it's not an HD)

not confident if i'll be topping the subject with those marks

Re: Semester 2 Chatter Thread

Gah the Arts Faculty Office won't let me have my majors in both sociology and social policy because apparently one of my cross-listed sociology units is invald - even though it said it could be counted as part of the "sociology" subject area when I enrolled

stabstabstab

Poll: Would you rather have a major in sociology or social policy?
