Wow. Today is a good day. 4 boring hours of lectures yes, but I got an elusive ticket to the UNSW MedSoc Rubix Cube cruise that's coming up in Week 7 (didn't think I would after SUPA sold out our quota), and lo and behold, instead of 2 applications to finish tonight, I have one, and the seven due for 28/8 have all been pushed back to 12/9. I think someone up there must be smiling on me.
My fortunes keep improving. I was able to submit a half-arsed application when I realised there was a discrepancy between the closing dates advertised on the main NSW Health Jobs website (21/8) and the Hunter/New England Health website (12/9). I'm seriously hoping it's the latter, and if not, I've sent an email anyway to the director, so that he can consider any "late" applications which are actually on time for the other advertised date.

They see reason, clearly.
I find it somewhat iRONic that a faculty which promoted equality, freedom of speech, tolerance yada yada yada has none of that for anything which isn't in the same viewpoint as their own.

all im asking for is a lack of bias mang

Comrades, refresh me on what I've forgotten from first year statistics

I have two straight lines in an Excel graph, one a mathematical model (fitted via regression analysis) and the actual raw data. How do I go about expressing the error between these two lines? Do I take the standard deviation of each point, and then average it? Or is there an easier way?
