These need to be in a little memory box!! In high school, there's plenty of smart-ass commentary because teachers are annoying, students are annoying. The feeling's mutual and ofc people have the guts to challenge authority

I'm sure you guys have come across some charms in your, but not limited to, high school years
make me laugh/ cringe/ jaw-drop/ respect/ raise eyebrows


one I remember:

Student: "but it doesn't say in the textbook!"
teacher: "stop treating the textbook as the bible"

student: Nobody likes your subject, no teacher has ever respected your work, and that's why youre not head teacher.

one time my friend proposed to the teacher with pipettes. Surprisingly, he said no

This was one of the most memorable moments from year 10 geo/history

So one student asked if its possible to just get a day off with the teacher's permission since hes awesome. Our teacher made a little joke saying:
'if you all dont come to class tomorrow ill just have to mark you absent and you all get to go home'
We knew he was joking but we couldnt resist.

So the next day 3rd period we all hid in the school hall for 40 minutes... out teacher was frantically looking for us. When he found us we had quite a good laugh...
