Okay, so i completed a year at uws. And i got an offer in the main round for electrical engineering at unsw.

After enrolling into it, I'm still not sure, if i should for elec engg or not..

Apparently, that it's really hard and there's only 3 per cent of girls in it..

so should i just go for it? i can't transfer again after this, since i'll be wasting more time :|

What did you do at UWS?

Do what motivates you and will give you the drive to study for it and work hard.

You will succeed in your study like it is a breeze if you actually enjoy what you are doing.

So its up to your personal preference really. Don't look at the gender ratios for choosing the degree.

I chose electrical engineering becuase it stood out form other types of engineering for me in terms of the content and the range of fields available later on (as well as job ranges, even though they all relatively get similar employment numbers).

What factors determine which degree you want to choose. Write a checklist and see which degree is most compatible to you.

As a girl in engineering you'll be treated like a queen and all the guys will want to be your friend and will give you heaps of notes, resources and help. Also engineering companies would rather hire a female because it shows that they are diverse.

Having a pussy and doing engineering is the dream.

I wonder if the same is true for guys in female dominated degrees?

Different course structure and different timetables for me.

I'll be doing second year and first year subjects combined compared to the bachelor's program.

So I'll be meeting second years and first years :D

What do you mean?

Is this to do with getting into ELEC2141? Because I had to phone them and get them to do the enrolment for it as my course is under a different circumstance in terms of it being a co-requisite instead of a pre-requisite.
