If you travel to Thredbo, the tracks are surprisingly long and awkward (well I cant navigate well so...). I think tracks that are long + steep, skiing works the best and is a great way to be on the slops all day without having to take multiple breaks. While snowboarding is a lot more thrilling but so much effort due to the constant stacks and restrapping..

I think skiing is much more entertaining. So if you asked me i will go with skiing.
I would probably prefer skiing, but, it's really bad on the knees... snowboarding is a bit lighter on the knees at least...

If so, what is it like???

Personally I always thought Snowboarding over skis, just because they kinda look cooler

Skiing is easier to master at first but in the long term, it feels the same unless you do tricks in the air.
Snowboarding is harder to master at first but there the diversity of using it is better than skiing.
I'm more of a skier though so can't really say which one is superior.
