so how did you personally go through teenage rebellion?

I snuck out and went to Mardi Gras (which my parents found out about and have subsequently held it against me).
Um..putting some of my fave lyrics from my fave bands on my wall seemed to disturb my dad a bit

I know thats not rebelling, but it pissed my parents off

lol music was my outlet as well

granted it was not *satantic*. it was, as my friend often told me, "rebellious" lol!

though if i play the music at home and my mother could hear it, it was too loud. so i would be forced to "blast" my rebellious songs... on the lowest level of volume possible.

Does standing up to your parents' friends count as rebellion?

Some of them are so annoying and narrowminded, and I get so annoyed and put them on the spot. I couldn't care less.

Yesterday, one was talking in general and saying 'You should marry your own kind, it's easier' and she completely generalised an entire people by saying x was bad, you should never marry from y etc etc

I clicked it.
Oh yeah, a person got to choose their ethnicity, they ticked a box and said 'hey I wanna be x', and we should judge an entire people over some shit ones.

I was sent to my room, and my parents told me off slightly afterwards. I think they were secretly alright with it. They just don't want me to say it infront of them.
