I reckon if the shoe supports your arch properly, and fits nicely and whatnot, it shouldn't hurt that much (except if you've been on your feet all night, but you can't really blame the shoe then, bare feet hurt if you stand up all night).
But I guess heels aren't known for their arch support and well-fittingness. They're just pretty, and they make your feet pretty, and pain is beauty and all that.

nah. im azzies height too. IT SUCKS. most of the time. like she says, its hard to find guys who are at least an inch taller! can hardly wear heels (azzie, you have guts wearing them and being so tall), and if you want to drive someone elses car, you always have to move the seat back. stuff like that. i think short people have it easier.

My parents are both reaaally tall so it's a little weird for me. My mum's around your height and she's always in heels so it makes me feel even more like a dwarf.

Height = good. Plus when you put on weight it is less noticeable.

well i have a dress that's that beige colour and silky, and i have a top like that too. i guess i could wear them with that dress and my nice top and some dark jeans.
currently im wearing them around the house with my pjs and yellow knee high socks haha fashionable, no?

Im 5'11 also, but thankfully size 8 in shoes so its pretty easy to find shoes.
I have this pair of gorgeous ballet flats in leopard print that my mum got made for me for $5 in vietnam and I have lived in them for a year. They actually look decent and not tacky, and theyre definately NOT furry - Ive seen some leopard print shoes that are furry I mean wtf theyd get so dirty.
