Don't worry, it would seem that Wenger is preparing for the future after Viera. And Viera should be sold soon, before he's not worth much at 30 something.

Wenger now claims that Real has assured him that they had not approached Viera.... just player agents wanting lotsa $$$ ... so viera may not go afterall? .... hmmm :(
You sound disappointed by the prospect :)

Anyway, Madrid need to sign Vieira before their CL registration deadline, in 10 days or so. If he's still at Arsenal then I guess he's staying.

LoL
Brazil is so so lucky. Feel bad for Argentina, but oh well, they can only have themselves to blame for not putting them away.

Trabelsi deal hits a snag.

*sigh*

Off to join the crims at Newcastle then, I see.

Fuck me, I'm just not going to bother about any transfer rumours untill August 15.

Also, Liverpool sign Josemi from Malaga. Never 'erd of him, I hope he's more Cheyrou than Hyppia tho. Instead of French rejects I hope Rafa can get assemble a team of Spanish misfits too :) . Not likely to happen, but funny if he does.

Liverpool 5 -1 Celtic

The Reds first game on their USA tour, a double from Cissé as well as goals from Owen, Riise & Henchoz (1st goal in 5yrs!)

A great start for the Reds so far under Rafa Benitez, lets hope it continues :uhhuh:

I think overmars retired cause he had a recurring injury, and decided he might as well retire now. He now wants a job as a scout with Arsenal.

Vieira agreed terms with Real Madrid ?!
Yeah, apparently, it's probably because zidane is getting old and planning retirement...and Real needs new people.
