so i am on the mother fucking three network and i don't know what to do. I'm locked in to a 24 month contract and all three ever seems to do is not work.

Firstly I signed the contract on the $49 cap that included a free motorola V3x.

all was fine for about a week. Then it broke for no reason. Took it back to the 3 store they said it needed a sofware update. three then sent it away and it came back still stuffed. After much arguing they finally replaced it with another v3x.

great.

until it broke again for no reason. So then they replaced the sim card.

Still didint work. So i went and asked if i could have a sony erricson to see if that would work. They said no so i bought a sony erricsson. That still stuffed up..

i was so fucking confused by this point, as it didn't seem to be ether the sim or the phone, it just kept fucking up.

So i bought a nokia 6280 on ebay to see if it would work. NOPE!!! fucking hell.

Last resort i went to three and said nothign works can i please get out of the contract.

They said no i couldnt and htat i was stuck in it for another 19 months. FUCK.

then i bought a 6288 as apparently they had all bugs fixed on them. AND IT STILL DOESNT FUCKING WORK.

does anyone have similar problems?? OR does anyone know if i have a right to cancel my contract as clearly they are not providing me with a service.

telstra has a policy of if you bring your phone back 3 times and they can't fix it, they terminate your contract, not sure about 3 though. I have a v3x and its crapolla too :(

yeah my motorola was fucking shit house, but i was fine with that. like annoye dthey wouldnt replace it, but okay.

but now its getting beyond fucking ridiculous after having bought 3 more phones (that have to be three network compatible) and replacing the sim card, and still having it not work.

find out how much the early exit fee is, probably easiest way to get out of it. You can sell all the phones you bought to pay for that, i guess.

yeah its just so weird that apparently its not the phone, orthe sim card. CAUSE ITSTHE FUCKING NETWORK YOU FUCK!! but three stillwont accept tis their fault

Yes. The entire network is dead. That's why hundreds of thousands of three customers manage to use their phones fine.

you need to do a couple of things
Firstly you need to familarise yourself with their policies. Do this by reading on their site. Next go into the store and find the manager. Not the floor assistant who claimes he/she is the manager but THE manager. If they aren't in there, at least book a time with them. When you're with the manager, tell him/her your story. Say it in a "let down" tone. Next ask what can be done. If they don't cooperate, threaten with consumer affairs and write them a formal letter (which you will bc send to consumer affiars). Ring the head office of 3 and see what they can do.

I'm guessing with enough hassling, they will give in and ask you to return everything. If it fails, just pay the exit strategy fee and get out of there. Today Tonight would be a good place to go to once you've payed that fee.

ahhha too many ppl using free-2-3 calls so if you have low coverage, you get screwed

my friend has some sort of peice of shit phone[actually its a really nice one, just annoys me] on some sort of peice of shit network, and due to some sort of bug with combining that phone with that network, his phone doesnt accept optus calls or sms. Fucking annoying cause iam with optus.

U SLUT. Honestly I can believe you did all that!. You have really messed up big time. First thing to do - is to send an email/letter to the SMH ICON and tell them exactly what happened and then hopefully they can screw 3 over.

Why did you buy another phone? The motorola phone is part of the contract. There is no such thing as a free phone. so if the phone doesnt work or there is problem with the phone or sim card and they cannot fix it - then THEY are breaking the contract and hence you can break away from it without any penalties.

They cant say that. You should complain to the department of Fair Trading or threaten them you are going to do. Next time go to the same shop and DEMAND to speak to the manager - SHOUT and be angry (even if your not) make a huge fuss, slam ur hand on the door - SWEAR, because thats when they will do anything. Otherwise they are just using you.

Dont say that you want terminate the contract - but they have terminated the contract by not offering any service. You cant use the phone or make any calls can you?


But complain to the Fair Trading dept and send a letter to SMH. I dont know how long you had this problem if its only been a week, go to the shop and demand your money back and go to VODAFONE and get pre-paid!.
If they have not provided with any of that, then they are not doing their part in the contract and hence violating it. Thus you can opt out of contract straight away. Dont pay anything until the issue is solved. They will chase after you for the money but dont pay them.

SLUT.
