Haha...that's bloody great! Thanks mate, you are a life-saviour!
You could use those quotes for both Judaism and Christianity:

Judaism - Tenach - Torah

Christianity - Bible - Old Testament

I have my SOR exam on Thursday - not feeling too confident - going to resort to cramming. Heaps of good tips and info in Christianity, but has anyone done Buddhism questions?
For Christianity:
-Principal Beliefs
-Importance of Bible
-Denominations of Christianity
-Jesus as a role model
-Origins of Christianity
-Devotion/Prayer

I don't know about Buddhism.

For Buddhism alot of the topics are kinda linked which makes it easy to remember & the questions you'll get SHOULD be pretty general and straightforward (at least mine were). All I needed to know was:

- The middle way
- The Three Jewels (Buddha, Dharma, Sangha)
- The Four Noble Truths (Dukkha, Tanha, Nirvana, eight-fold path)
- The concept of impermanence (Anicca),
- No-soul (Anatta),
- Interdependant origination,
- Karma
- Samsara
- Nirvana
- Ethics - The Five precepts, Vinaya

The short answer questions I got were:
- "Outline the significance of the Four Noble Truths in Buddhism"
- "Discuss the role of Anicca, Dukkha and Anatta in Buddhism"
- "Explain the importance of Nirvana in Buddhism"

And for the essay:
"Explain the importance of principal ethical teaching in Buddhism with reference to the Five Precepts".

You may need to know Buddhist texts, and the origins of Buddhism, but the above content is probably what you're going to be predominantly tested on.

Thanks Man!
Really good info!

Also, do we need to know the texts in depth, or do we just have to identify them? Also do they focus mainly on Mahayana and Theravada only - or different texts as well?

Again Thanks man.
