lets get off academics and talk about sport

whos gonna win wchich school comps?

Waverly looks good to win CAS rugby, possibly soccer too

JOEys/Kings always favourites for GPS rugby,

Iggies are good at everything

High could do well at soccer. 1's and 2's

any thoughts?

I wonder by how many High will lose to Kings and Joeys in Rugby this year. Maybe 100 or am I overestimating high. Iggies already took out the athletics and Knox in CAS took swimming and athletics. So lets focus on rugby and soccer.

I reckon Knox will take out the CAS Rugby and Waverly a close second then Barker.
I think Riverview will take GPS Rugby, Joeys didn't look good against Knox and I haven't heard about Kings much of late in terms of having a star player or something.

In terms of the ISA, soccer will go to St Pius and Rugby probably to Pats or i'm not sure.

Basketball also finished as Oakhill took it in ISA, and Riverview i think in GPS.

Do you guys find it interesting how they spend so much time and money with the big GPS schools on rugby. Also how the final last year had like 10 000 spectators?

yeah but joeys often dont put a serious team in the trials
they did it last year against someone and lost.

Shore wno the gps Basketball 1sts and 2nds

yeah Knox are pretyt tough this year i hear,

favourites for GPS will always be joeys and kings though
perennial powerhouses

iggies are good all round they can offer a challenge, they should be soccer favourites, but High are looking good at soccer

may not be as bad this year for HIgh rugby still shoudl be ugly though

i think one thing is for sure,
high has gps volleyball wrapped up (assuming their is a premiership in this inaugural year for the comp).
all the other teams are so crap, we've been playing our 2nds and 3rds against their 1st grade, and coming away with straight set wins.

Joeys is shit this year. Sorry boys but IT is pink and no one cares.

Surprised that no one has mentioned shore in these forums yet, think im the only one of us who has been bothered to sign up.

Shore 1sts have got an awesome team this year with heaps of younger guys to make us even better next year.

Schools we are most afraid of are, kings and view. We got done by KNOX on the weekend, mainly because of a ref who waited until knox scored to blow the final whistle, but whatever, whats in the past is in the past.

Oh and barker firsts.. yeah we beat you :D

GPS Comp = Kings, View, Shore OR Joeys, Newington, Scotts, Grammar, High.

And GPS got SMASHED in bball against ISA.

But they cheated.. the point guard is like 19 and trains with the razorbacks.. he got 33 points against a couple of teams.

As I said before, I think both Barker and Knox will beat Waverley this year in Rugby. This view is supported by Barker's victory over 'view and the fact that Knox remains undefeated to this point.

there was still penalty time to go in the game.

:D

who cares, its pre season and u guys just wanna-be GPS

Kings is a joke to the GPS and should be kicked out. Anyone who imports players to win is in my view not holding up the values of the GPS .....

wank wank wank...

i reckon!

stupid imports on their 'sports scholarships'

what was that thing with knox ppl?
how they get offered pathways if they're good at sport so they can play for them for 2 years instead of 1?

hehhe, I know pathways isn't just for sport, just that what's his face did it once and that was the year that knox broke our streak

would've been 6 in a row
