This pitch isnt the worst for batting, although it is turning quite significantly, as expected in Sri Lanka. Rash strokeplay from both sides, on a pitch requiring patience, is probably the main culprit for the collapses.

yea probably is.....(about the rash strokeplay) but i also think that it was hard to bat on that first day because of rain and whatnot..... but if u look at today.... th 10th partnership run rate is lyk 6.75...

i dont get the captaincy with Sri Lanka

im watching them bowl now , why open with Murali (a spin bowler for one) when u haev Zoysa and Vaas who did exceptionally well (especially Zoysa)...

no offence but i reckon SL lose because of bad captaincy, i Think Tilkeratne need some pointers from Ponting

and why is Jayasuria still playing
