I read this on the internet today....food for thought..........

Imagine the world without cancer. It has been proven that cancer is a deficiency disease caused by the lack of Vitamin B17 (Laetrile). Today there are more people making money from cancer than dying from it. That is the one of the main reasons why Vitamin B17 is disapproved by FDA and cancer associations. You can do research and find that pharmaceuticals companies pushed FDA to disallow sales of raw apricot seeds in the United States. Raw apricot seeds are known to have abundance of B17 vitamin. There is lots of money to make from patented drugs and if we all start eating raw apricot seeds than there will be no profit. This information is not a new breaking research, but we are trying to spread the truth about Vitamin B17 through the Internet.

You can buy the Vitamin B17 itself, but the vitamin is extracted from the apricot seeds

Here are a list of foods that contain the Vitamen B17:

Apple seeds, alfalfa sprouts, apricot kernels, bamboo shoots, barley, beet tops, bitter almond, blackberries, boysenberries, brewer’s yeast, brown rice, buckwheat, cashews, cherry kernels, cranberries, currants, fava beans, flax seeds, garbanzo beans, gooseberries, huckleberries, lentils, lima beans, linseed meat, loganberries, macadamia nuts, millet, millet seed, peach kernels, pecans, plum kernels, quince, raspberries, sorghum cane syrup, spinach, sprouts (alfalfa, lentil, mung bean, buckwheat, garbanzo), strawberries, walnuts, watercress, yams.

They are saying that if you already have cancer a special diet must be enforced, and obviously they havent figured out the correct one to cure cancer....but studies are showing that by eating B17 it can help to prevent it.

hope that helps

Lack of any vitamin/overdose of any vitamin is a factor which may lead to or directly cause cancer, theoretically speaking. Besides, cancer is an abnormality in cell growth, not caused directly by not having vitamin B17. I don't think everyone who doesn't have cancer eats apricot seeds.

does that mean too many veges cause cancer? D=
Nah, it's generally the opposite trend; more fruit and veges decreases risk of cancer.

What it does mean is that the thread-starter is retarded.
