Does anyone know, roughly, the marks I will need to get a state rank in Modern History?

My current raw mark is 97, rank 1st. I'm in a really competitive year, with 20 people above 90. The person coming second is on 96. I guess that'll scale my school mark up to 98 (or hopefully 99).

Providing I maintain my mark (I plan on getting 98/99/100 in the HSC) do you think that will get me a good state rank? I know Modern is so competitive.

Yeh 98/99/100 will probably get you the state rank

iirc 97 is the cutoff for state rank in modern. 96 if the exam is hard.

A few years ago a boy in my school came first in modern history with a mark of 99. Has anyone ever got 100 before?
