Still possible for high band 5 or early 6? for Maths (1 Viewer)

As mentioned before couple months ago.

I bombed my half yearly and assestment which was 45% in total got around
40/100 average.

Recently got 60/100 which was 4/52 . (15%) boosted my rank.

My internal ranks is about 17/36 so far and the people who are topping 2U got about 70-75% average for there internals so far. I know the person who is coming ninth has got an internal mark of about 60% avg.

I got my trials soon which is 40%, If possible if i do well in this exam could i get a band 5-6??? and i do reasonbly well in my externals.

It depends on the standard of your school exams compared to the hsc.
Do hsc past papers, and see if you're getting 80% + in those, i think that's a fairly good indicator of whether you could get Band 5/6 in the hsc. (not considering scaling though)

This, the trials and HSC exam count for 70%, at this point, even a state ranking in maths is a possibility.

Yep for sure I was ranked 74 out of 130 last year after trials and got 89 final mark. You can do heaps between trial and hsc

30-40 so not amazing or anything, like what was said before, hsc is still 50% it made a huge difference for me
