nah, i'm 18812827 [i was accelerated in maths in year nine] and then my actual year were all 19 something. i think the first two numbers are year you do your first sc in, because i moved schools and the rest of my year now is still 19 something.

No i moved schools after year ten to a catholic senior school with over 500 kids in the year and the hsc numbers ranged from 17XXXXXX-19XXXXXX, since the people at my new school came from a variety of schools
