Oh my God, my biggest distraction, aka the internet, has been slowed down beyond belief. :( I guess now I'm being forced to study.

My school looks at our school certificate marks when we choose our year 11 and 12 subjects. If we performed badly in any subject, they won't let us choose it as one of our courses. So, in that case, I feel studying is my only option. I'd choose not to study, though because it seems a waste of time, especially if your moving on to years 11 and 12.

I'm more worried about my yearlies/trials than the SC. First week back man. Bleh. I was gonna study, but im too lazy. But i guess i'll study for the SC a bit just to make sure i know all my stuff. Better safe than sorry.

How does that work though? All the subjects we do this year, bar Maths and English aren't even yr11 subjects. Our school only looks at SC results if you wanna do Adv. English or Ext. English, which is understandable, so I'm only motivated to do well in the English exam.

Why? What school?

Ours only does it for Ext.1. courses.

Our school doesnt look at SC but they look at our results over the past two years to see if we are consistent workers.

My school doesn't even use the SC results for anything.
They use your half yearly results to determine what subjects you can do.
And for those that missed out on certain subjects b/c of their half yearly results, well then that's what the yearly results are for.

The sc results are only used in the school newsletter to brag about people who did extremely well. :)
