lol can't blame em for being excited starting usyd.

btw, anyone walk from redfern to uni? or do majority of people catch the bus from central - uni? when it was my enrolment day i walked through redfern (my brother accompanied me), and i must admit, it's a little bit scary walking through those quiet streets (even during the day).
I think there's an entire thread about the safeness of Redfern a little below if you're interested :)

Redfern is pretty safe I wouldn't worry. I wouldn't walk through there alone at night but daytime =

I have the Florence Nightingale Complex.

I need to help people to offset my crushingly low self esteem :(

Redfern's not scary. I'm a little (I do stress little) asian girl and I've never had a problem with it.

I'm responsible for two batch of first years this year. I'm going to go crazy. :(

I thought it referred to people with low self-esteem who tried really hard to help everybody so that they could feel better about themselves. :pirate:

Messiah complex is a little bit closer to what I meant, but still not really.

YAY!

And SP, umm what about "Hero's complex"? Although I'm not sure about the low self-esteem part.

more or less impossible to find a place on campus that fills all three criteria. (especially in the first month or so of Semester 1 when all the first years decide to be cool and buy all their food on campus, so manning and wentworth are completely packed.) just go to broadway or newtown.
Manning Bar is the best. good food. not too packed and it's the only reasonably priced food on campus.

jayadore what is your first name?

There's a good and cheap bakery near that vaguely emo looking music shop opposite Victoria Park. I think its called something like the Devil's Bakery...You can get a chicken and salad roll, as well as an apple danish, for about $6
