What are you going to do there? And if you want I guess. I've been to UBC and they have a nudist beach on campus.

Also, should I go to uni for three days from 10 - 3 with no break, or for four days with similar times but with breaks?

no breaks is pretty hectic. i had 2 days of that in my 2nd year...then again, for me, the tutes/labs were around lunchtime so i never got to eat lunch properly.

i got nominated for exchange @ guelph, but it wasn't my top choices (yeah i had to google it too), so im deciding either go on adventures in canada for 5 months but then i'll have no money afterwards and i'll miss some interesting subjects at usyd i've wanted to take.

I'd prefer the three days-no break combination. I find it much nicer to have a lovely whole day off to look forward then shorter days/more breaks.

Although the timing is pretty bad for lunch (as goony said)

oh noes, the subject timetables have all chagned...now I either:
-take a subject that has a half lecture clash (last hour of one clashes with 1st hour of the other) with another subject i have, but this means i'm only at uni 3 days a week.
-take another subject with no clashes but i have to come in 4 days a week.

OHMYGOD GOONY. I'm having the same problem.
Boo. I think I'll just go with the clashing times and attend half of one and then go to the other. Plus I can't find a class that doesn't clash.

Just letting everyone know, if you're heading into uni this week or next and want to use the computers, you must synchronise your password at the 'quick print computers', atleast in Carslaw anyway, before you can log on. They must've done a system upgrade or something but all you need to do it type in your username and password, and presto, they're 'synchronised', magic!
