I found an ad in the Illawarra Mercury for jobs at Supre. And coz I need a job, I applied. But the ad was shocking.
"We are all about fast affordable fashion. Do you buy a new outfit every time you have somewhere to go? Are you addicted to monthly fashion magazines to check out what's hot and what's not? Are your favourite shows 'Sex in the City' and the 'OC'? If so, you are what we are looking for!"

I dont get why you have to have certain fav tv shows to work in a skanky clothing store. I have never once seen a television in a Supre store playing SITC or the OC. Niether of them shows are my favourite, I hevent even watched a single episode of either show, but I still applied, coz it will be a paying job.

Which shop was this? I went to an interview for a surf shop a few weeks back and it was so lame!!! They referred to the interview as a '2 minute speed date,' their jokes were painfully unfunny, they really gave out that annoying surfy vibe. I couldn't get out quick enough.

To the thread-starter I recommend you think about working at Supre and whether you can see yourself in the position, either way you'll know once you get to the interview stage

I just need a job. And im too old to get employed at a fast food resteraunt, and im not retarded, so i couldnt possibnly get a job at mcdonalds or kfc.

But if i were to get the job at supre, and I dont like it, It would give me some more experiance.

if it's convenient to get to, i say, just get the job. a job is a job. money is money.

though, i would probably get sick of having to deal with ack customers, and having to wear the clothes and i think you have to wear heels as well. and you have to be happy and energetic all the time.
