Stan just imploded. Spraying errors and 1st serve % was terribad.

Yes, Novak was solid but Stan's 5th set level didn't match his 5th set level in AO13 and AO14.

It'll be fine. He's THIRD (I think) in the ATP race regardless of what happens on Sunday.

Meanwhile Roger and Rafa are 8th and 9th in the race respectively.

Stan defends nothing basically in the French Open so yeah... (though he has to defend his Monte Carlo crown too)

A lot of room for Stan to move back up.

Yeah, I think he mentally gassed out. The 4th set must have taken a lot of mental energy out of him (understandable because he was on the brink of defeat in the 4th).

Physically he seemed absolutely fine.

Stan's performance was pretty shocking/disappointing in 5th set. I guess his mentality in the 4th set must've been primarily like "I need to make it to the 5th set" rather than "I need to win this match" and then he burnt out and couldn't get momentum back on after that x.x
