Hi I'm just wondering if the Half yearly tests can test on the material that was covered in Term 4 last year? In particular for subjects such as Maths, Economics, Ancient History and Physics

So for example in Physics the first topic is Space and the next topic is Motors and Generators, so the half yearly test more likely then not will have both of these topics?

if you're studying for them now, then it doesnt hurt if you overstudy =P

Well in year 11, for terms 1 and 2, I was only tested on the material that was covered on that specific term and not the previous term, yeh but the end of year tests had everything

oh my bad sorry,
i had a misunderstanding because i haven't had any science exams yet, sorry
so yes, it is possible that u wont be assessed on ur first module, but u shud know that pretty well anyway now

Wow thats a bit strange, that would be like only testing students on what they did in term 2 in the yearly exam.

But yes, as it has been said before it is usually module 1 and most of/ all of module 2.

Yeah - since most schools did not have proper examinations on their first topic. Also chances are you wouldn't be finished the 2nd Module by the Half-Yearly Examinations in Term 1, 2009 - therefore to make it fair - they would include Module 1.
