Note, the commentary and coverage during the game is same on Nine and Foxtel. It is the pre-match coverage, which was different! And yes it was yuck on Foxtel, but even more yuck on Channel 9 imo!

I am doing some tipping for the World Cup. And initially chose England for today, but was convinced by a few friends to change to Australia. Now, feeling very nervous!! haha

There's a difference between tipping and betting lol.

Atm got my TV on split-screen, one half watching SL vs NZ (without sound) and other half watching AUS vs ENG (with sound). SL vs NZ looks like it is going to be a very very tight finish!

I really like the commentary combo atm for the AUS vs ENG coverage - Gatting, Warne and Taylor (Y) (Y) No nonsense from folk such as Slater, Healy and Brayshaw.

Ugh I hate this new world cup layout with the scores and stuff. It looks like something that'd exist in a cartoon. So annoying :/

The umpires were indeed wrong about that last ball - http://www.espncricinfo.com/icc-cricket-world-cup-2015/content/story/831485.html

"Following Australia's 111-run win over England in the Group A ICC Cricket World Cup clash at Melbourne Cricket Ground on Saturday night, the Playing Control Team (PCT) met and reviewed the final ball of the game which resulted in James Anderson being given run out," an ICC statement said.

"Article 3.6a of Appendix 6 of the Decision Review System Playing Conditions states that the ball should have been deemed dead when the batsman (James Taylor) was given out LBW. No further runs or dismissals were possible.

"The PCT spoke to the England team management and acknowledges that the game ended incorrectly and that an error was made."
