Just had a banana cocktail. Gin, rum and banana vok. Cocktails are gross. Went straight back to my beer and French champagne.

Not so good out of a bottle though =( Might be because the preservatives or whatever in it remind me of New in a bottle and I have bad memories of the last time I bought a case of New lol.

Currently drinking a bundaberg red and cola premix - pretty good.

I agree that New is atrocious out of a bottle but not Old.

Ended up buying a case of Castaway Pear Cider.

It's quite sweet compared to other ciders on the market but it was $38 so I'm more than satisfied.

Mixed some McAllister Reserve and JW Red together to make a scotch which is both sweet but also with a decent aftertaste (only a tiny bit in both bottles so might as well make the MR palatable enough to drink).

If you're in the market for a super cheap scotch, don't buy McAllister Reserve. It's way too sweet to drink on its own so use it exclusively for a mixer.
