Re: The Official Football Thread

You lot looked very shaky against Hull..... lucky Arsenal don't have many big men to aim at

But yeah, Arsenal usually bottle it in the big games so I don't see them winning
We should've beaten Hull. Missed so many chances including a sitter by Terry. :cold:

id say the last 2 responses are sarcastic but one can never be sure on the internet

i dont think capello could have allowed him to keep his captaincy. the affair itself was one thing, and i think capello would have let it slide. but the fact that it was with the woman of another england national team player meant that there were divided loyalties among the england squad and you just cant have that.

ancelotti wont do anything, as he has already stated. bridge doesnt play for chelsea, so as far as carlo is concerned, terry can go around and explore any hole he wants, as long as that hole isnt married to someone who plays for chelsea

Bridge shouldn't be making the England squad anyway.... hopefully this saga keeps him out for good. Baines and Warnock are much better than him

Re: The Official Football Thread

that was a pretty retarded decision, fellaini's tackle was pretty bad but perhaps if mascherano didn't come in with a swinging boot it might've helped imo. completely deserved a red nevertheless.

Re: The Official Football Thread

What did he do?
Probably because he took the corner from which Kuyt scored. Liverpool are catching up to Arsenal if you look at the league table. Hopefully they are able to take all three points on Thursday morning (Australian time) when they travel to the Emirates.

Re: The Official Football Thread

Can't believe that Liverpool are in the top 4 now- biggest bullshit of the season so far apart from Hughes getting sacked

:haha:

No..... he was at his diving best again, committing bad challenges and getting away with them as usual, and some more diving to get Pienaar sent off. He really is a cunt of a footballer
