How important is structure when doing 7 mark question and such. Will they mark you down for poorly structured answers?
yeah, no contradictions, they can deduct marks if you have them. Basically follow the structure of the question, it doesn't have to have a coherent structure, just as long as its clear what you're saying and where it relates, thats all.Tommy_Lamp said:Yes. But what is more important is the content and that there are no contradictions. With a 7 mark question you should spend a least 10mins answering it. Write out a plan and list everything you know that is relevant to the question.
just out of curiosity, who's your tutor???wind said:So says physics tutor, who teaches at Scotts College.

It is what the board has been pushing all year.Paroissien said:Tables just seem wrong in an exam to me, but if thats what floats your boat, then don't let me stop you

yep. our teacher's been pushing it all year, for physics too. mostly for the neatness factor, and the advantage of being able to see what you've already said. also, i think you said earlier not to put dots if you do it in point form, but i really don't think there's a problem with that. it's all about whether you actually include all the required relevant informationParoissien said:Are we talking actual tables where you have say two columns, three rows, etc.?
