Nah, we have had heaps of trainees aged 18-19 recently. They do give more hours to younger people but if you can work during school times that's a plus. It's not like they won't hire you.

I just checked the enterprise agreement - if you live in NSW, you should get $18.49 an hour as a casual.

Also on the website, you only have a period of 7 days to complete the application since starting. What happens after these 7 days end? Can you start up a new application?

For NSW including casual loading, the 17 year old wage is $13.86 and $16.18 as an 18 year old.

Also after 7 days your application will time out but yeah you can start again. It's probably a good idea to get all your referees/cover letter sorted now though so it's ready to go.

Ok thank you. I was worried, because I haven't talked to my referees, nor patched up my resume, and I have 2 days left. So I thinking the application would time out and lock me out for a certain period of time before I could re-apply.

Is there an attachment for the resume in the application? Or is that just required at the interview?

I applied like 2 and a half years ago so maybe it's different now but there should be an attachment on the application.

I'm pretty sure that thats the standard wage for a 19 y o. $15.15p/h may be without casual loading. Maccas doesn't do trainee wages anymore so it shouldn't change.

I've never heard of that.. Where did you hear that from? If it's true, that's really dodgy. They request it back once you quit so they could hardly make you pay for it.

should of applied before HSC finishes. i applied a week before my last exam

I'm working in Circular Quay They're always hiring if you want to try there. I'm 16 and get $11.something on the weekends. Don't have to pay for uniform either

I got 3 months to spend before uni. I might as well make some money and get some work experience.
