Even disregarding Cahill's yellow card; would you say that he is more effective later in the game when he comes off the bench?

Hmm i don't know if he is more effective coming off the bench. I mean just coz he's managed to score from the bench a few times recently doesnt mean that is where he is most effective. For me the most tellin substitution was bringing Kennedy, and I do think he is an impact bench player. I feel like Kewell should also come off bench and play Timmy since he can create havoc from word go. However whether he starts from bench would probably more be due to the yellow card situation. All I know is that Aloisi needs a good run, as he is a proven goalscorer against quality sides (re: Confed cup last year not to mention La Liga)

Actually, you are right.

I was thinking along the lines of it leaving both teams with one point after two games, but then with that, Croatia could beat Australia.

Either way, I am still hoping both teams make it - Croatia and Australia that is.

I'd much prefer 2-0, as japan would only have a 0 F/A score after that match, croatia would have -3, we would have about 0 pending the brazilian result. then brazil should beat japan by a few. then we can even lose to croatia by a goal. ultimate winnrar!

too right, i've resorted to strategically counting the number of hours sleep i need and exactly what time my exam is,

but really, staying up till 5 am when you have an exam the next day is just not an option,

Isn't Agincourt the unofficial Socceroos base? Problem is it gets packed out really early, there was no room after a few minutes the other night when we played Japan.

G&G Army base, and yeah, it does get packed fairly early, but seeing as the Brazil match will be at 1:30, there's less chance of a massive crowd there. I'll be there though.
