That can't happen - if you check the draw you'd see hewitt as 3rd seed, and Federer as 1. This means they can only meet in the semis. The supposed winner would meet roddicks half of the draw.

Fuck the line calls/umpiring has been shit in this match.

Umpire is a deadset spastic, and linespeople are calling balls inside the line out, then correcting themselves and shit. It's ridiculous.

Match has been on and off but its getting good now. Looking forward to this 5th set.

Going off the current topic, but I thought a quote from Marat Safin summed up Hewitt fairly well: goes roughly like this- "you might say that out of the players in the top 20, Hewitt has no talent, but every time he's in a crucial point of the match, he comes up with arguably the passing shot of the year."

Hewitt is really interesting to watch only for his passion... his gameplay definitely lack something compared to Safin/Federer/Agassi/Roddick. But he jumps really well.

I missed the thing with the shoulder brush (Hewitt v. Nalbandian) can anyone fill me in?

When did Safin say that?

He said it some time in 2003/2004, in slightly dodgier english. I think it was in a press conference where someone asked him whether he was disappointed in being ranked so low despite his "massive talent." He then replied with something along the lines of "every top 20 player has bucketloads of talent," and went on to give the Hewitt example.
