Lets wait and see who started the fight first, shall we?

In other news, BBC has got transfer predictions up. Anyone wish to make an early guess?

Owen and Drogba<i hope> probably inter
Arshavin looks like he's gonna go madrid
Heskey wont help liverpool that much anyway

Gerrard if arrested it would be interesting to c his replacement.

Waste of time for Heskey to be returning to Liverpool. He'd be lucky to be on the bench.

Arteta's going to be swallowed up by a big club when his contract with Everton is over :(

Oh well, he was a bargain after all.

Benzema > Real Madrid - only if they ammassed a large amount of cash
Gallas > Milan or Marseille. Possible. I'd say somewhere in france. but hes def unhappy @ arsenal
Wayne Bridge, Santa Cruz > Manchester City. City are looking to buy and these are 2 leading rumours.
Giovani dos Santos > Barcelona. Possible. Maybe back to brazil if hes desperate, maybe milan if their interested.
John Arne Riise > Newcastle? Not sure, havent seen him much @ roma.
Defoe > Tottenham. This is a big rumour, but i doubt it.

i dont think cash is a problem for real madrid...
i dnt think he will go this window because lyon are though to the knockout phases meaning if he left he will be cup-tied

also, they just bought huntelaar

yeah but lyon arent silly. They know hes hot property, so if madrid really wanted him, they would be looking for at least top 20 transfer prices ever. If not, lyon are getting shortchanged.
Madrid are showing off Diarra already.

fair enough, but if lyon ever have any ambition of winning the UCL they wont sell their greatest asset.

and didnt he sign a contract extension which runs till 2014 or something?
surely they can hold out for another 6 months

Real Madrid are a complete circus, they'll pay anything. They paid £20 million for Lassana Diarra ffs! Either way, Lyon are tough but there's no way they'll be able to resist a move of £25 million+. You're right about him being cup-tied but he desperately wants to move and Real Madrid are desperate for strikers. Either way they are completely fucked in the Champions League... lucky lucky Liverpool.

They don't need cash. They have it and they'll spend whatever they've got.

Marseille is the club he served longest for in France, but his career isn't over and Milan desperately need a defender of his calibre.

yep, City aren't gonna be able to lure all the Buffon's and Kaka's to Manchester but they're two realistic and rather good buys.

dos Santos is Mexican. A move to Mexico would be a step backwards considering he is one of the most wanted teenagers in Europe. Barca will probably buy back at a lower price. Either way, Redknapp desperately wants to get rid of him.

Riise has been a disaster for Roma, Newcastle are really the only club I've heard him linked to.

Defoe is proven to be a solid Premier League striker and he's a favourite of Redknapp. Adams is inexperienced in the transfer market and has every chance of losing the player who is very unhappy at Portsmouth.

We've got Zoran Tosic and Adem Ljajic. That's the end of our activities.

As for Man City, well they can have a feast. Usually it's the clubs at the bottom end of the table that are most active anyway. :p
