it should be a good move for him. He can partner Gilardino up front

Man United 2-1 Portsmouth. That result puts us through to the last 16 in the FA cup. Rooney scored both goals. Its good to see him scoring again. His second goal was all class.

Lauren did nothing special, Park had a few good runs at him down the right. Their defence did play pretty well though, but we had like 2 clear goals disallowed by the linesman. Could've won by a bigger margin.

Rooney's second goal was delightful, I never thought it wouldgo in.

I know I'm completely changing the topic, but is anyone else missing every single game because of this new Fox Sports 3? I have Optus, not digital, and therefore can't receive Fox Sports 3, and have to do with an hour of highlights each week.
It's not enough, and it's incredibly gay to have to deal with

Rooney really does score some superb goals. He will be back to his prolific best if only he can just keep scoring the less spectacular ones as well.

better win. unlike that ghana match.
I agree that we deserved to win the match against Ghana...but if you look at the way they played at the World Cup, they are clearly a quality side. The draw against them is certainly nothing to be ashamed of. I would expect us to beat Denmark though.

When at full strength... the socceroos are much better than their ranking of 39 suggests.

We proved this by making it to the last 16 at the World Cup.

Denmark are a shadow of their past, unlike the side that won the 1992 Euro Championship. They were a good side. The Nordic countries back then were just were pretty strong. Sweden went on to reach the semis of the '94 World Cup too if I remembered correctly.

Now though it's a different story, they don't seem to have emerged any new talents and the old guards have reached their peaks and are on the decline. I can only recall Jon Dahl Tomasson, Rommedahl and Gronkjaer, I can't name any other Danish internationals off the top of my head right now.
