The Quad - USyd vs UNSW (1 Viewer)

Apparently the UNSW Quad is 3 ft bigger than the USyd Quad.

Just thought I would belittle you guys.

i have nothing against TAFE just saying that first....

look at the difference between tafe and universities across NSW

really architecture wise UNSW is just a glorified TAFE college,

USYD on the other hand LOOKS LIKE AN INSTITUTION OF HIGHER LEARNING that churns out well rounded graduates rather than souless drones...

Yeah I can't agree any more, UNSW looks like a DARK manufacturing plant

I thought about doing that course but decided aginst it. I'm mainly doing science units for the first 3 years, but in those 3 years am completing the commmerce pre-req's. atm in first year I''ll be doing one comm pre-req i.e. accounting 1 A and 1B

Well if we're gonna talk about crappy looking unis, you just cant go past UTS. At least Sydney's few (note the few) crappy buildings dont create a city-wide eyesore.

USyd is beautiful; people have their weddings in the great hall. As for UTS, it's just a large rectangular box with a large sign placed on it....yuk

My attitude towards uni is the same as it is towards people. Its about whats inside - i.e the value of teaching, culture etc and aesthetics are a bonus. So if i had a choice between two very good unis, why wouldn't i take the better looking one???

The thing i hated with USyd wen I was there was that most of the buildings were old and everything was too far from each other, thats why I chose UNSW over USyd

EDIT: oh, and the Nobel Prize winner for Economics appearing at our uni, NOT USyd!
