Hi there. I'm just wondering if it's reasonable to change tutorial classes if I felt that I could benefit much greater from another tutor and if I questioned his approach to teaching?

I highly recommend you chang tutors, it is very easy and quite simple.

After week 1, you need to notify maths admin if you want to switch

Ahh, thanks for that. I've swapped it for another class now, but wasn't quite sure before if I was thinking too critically or not. I really did leave the tutorial with a worry though.

Better to change online or go to the office?

One of my tutes i want to change to another (all the other classes are full)...would they be able to fit me in if i went in there personally.

The other tute is ok to change online (but is it better to go in-person)?

2/3 of my math tutors were absolutely shocking! Seriously did not know their shiz.

My friends seemed to pick all the awesome ones, like Bose [who's also an excellent lecturer] and a few others who I can't remember...been a while.

They may squeeze you in if you go to them in person, it is impossible to enrol online if it is full

Another thing....is it normal practice for the tutor to go through the problem set without first asking the class if there is any question they wanted to address?

If prefer a system where the tutor just asks the class what questions they need help with....rather than going through all the easy shit (that everyone had no problems with) leaving no time for the hard shit.

Does anyone have any clue whether these tutors for QMA are decent or not? Pang, Low, Xu, Feng.

Heck, my MATH2019 tutor goes over content we already covered in the lectures goddamnit so in the end we only cover a few questions.
But he is a "traditional" looking fellow.

i guess it'd be good for reinforcing knowledge, but it would be good to cover a variety of material.
