this
my entire shift is in cash office tomorrow, though i'll probably have to do tickets in there too :(
Lucky, my shift tomorrow is 9-5 on smokeshop.

Then the next two fortnights are all cash office. Luckily I don't have to do any tickets or systems type work.

I haven't done tickets since about March, so I can't complain :p And 3-5 tickets/5-7 cash office wouldn't be too bad.
Better than checkouts ;)

Good update... no problems evident so far.

Definitely like not having to press store log in on the SCO's.
Especially for approving signatures... signature appears much quicker.
And Payment in progress screen was well overdue.

Wording on payment screens should make it easier for customers :)

I fail because I don't try, most people in our store use the screens or do them in collaboration with each other. Also remember that you have to get all 10 right to pass. Once I've marked a few though I'm generally good
There have been weeks where I have PICKED the test and still only got 9...

BTW, we're not getting it until Friday, so you're probably going to have more notice than anyone else.
What notice? In our store, I think you have to get only 8/10 to pass. I've failed it before ehee! Damn stupid beans! Runner, kentucky etc. GRRR. Apples I'm fine. My shift is only five hours though. Five hours is good...it means I have a break. I hate four hour shifts. ;)

Oh I just meant that you're going back to work on the same day as the upgrade, so its not like its been there for a month and you've missed it.
And you get a break on four hour shifts now :p

System upgrade is weird (but good).
It's probably been asked, but is it just me or is there now a quantity button for operators again?

Loving the new functions under 5,5,1 :)

(We got ours on June 2)

I haven't seen a register screen since the update but I highly doubt it. WowPOS and the previous register system didn't let operators do quantities. It would be nice in theory but would lead to massive autostockr problems.

The quantity button has always appeared on the home screen for operators when in transaction mode and works if you have supervisor numbers, or launches a control check for it to be authorised if you don't have them.

What I don't get with 5-5-1 is where do the reports go? Does it just have a default printer it sends them to?

It should send it to the default printer for printing your daily reports from the workstations (so probably the printer in the general office? This is the case in my store).
And thanks for your answer, lol. I was kind of on some sort of sugar high (ok, I admit, today at work I had 5 cans of Mother and a double can of Red Bull, in the space of the first 7 hours)... and then I went on registers, and went all *wtf* over the quantity button.

LIZZZZZZZ!!!! OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG O.M.G!!!! LIZ!!
we missed youuuuu! :shy:

Ok, the truth is.
I found out what Jess was up to. To force her to come clean, I "came clean" for something I never did.
Jess is the real culprit.
