i listen to a bit of it - bathory is probably one of my favourite bands, in any genre. i'm also diggin' horna, anaal nathrakh, astriaal, darkthrone, venom, etc...

i liked metal when there was only one type of metal. now there's all these genre's everywhere.

i prefer to just divide it into

metal thats based off classical music

metal that isnt.

i prefer the former. although........i like slayer and various forms of thrash metal.

what is black metal?..........like slipknot?

Slipknot is Nu-Metal... Think Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit... In the same genre.

Granted, I quite like Slipknot. And yes, I get paid out a lot because of it.

I like a bit of black metal, some of the usuals and a few that've turned up in my adventures. There's plently of people into metal around the forums, it's just that not everyone who does like it makes a big deal of it
