For a country that recieved the Olympic games, China is doing nothing to improve it's humanatarian abuser image.

In 1984 the government ordered the massacre of a hundreds, maybe thousands of people, or even more (the exact number is not known).
On the 20th anniversary of the killing the government has arrested people mourning in the very town square where the massacre occured.
The media too has been banned.

btw that dude who stoood in front of the tank...what a kick arse dude.

People like him actually give a shit about a country and humanity and would be good leaders.

Loook at our politicians and what they care about they dont seem to really care about the country.

our politicians just sit back while other people are doing their dirty work.

Our best and most patriot citizens are offf on the front line in iraq while our leaders are sitting back all comfy worrying about being re-elected.

Our government is so quick to start a war cos our politicians arnt risking very much, the soldiers are going to be the ones to take the fall due to the politicians trying to score points with the american government.

in my opinion the soldiers risk their lives for us and the least we could do is show some appreciation by trying to protect them. This couhntry is fucked cos we never think of anyone else, the people who actually care about his country and its citizens are the soldiers.

I dont have a problem goinog to war and shit...as long as their is a clear and present threat to our country or our allies. WE cant risk the lives of our soldiers just for cheaper oil and on a whim that a country one day in the future might attack us.

The reason we are freee in this country is because through our history the soldiers have faught for us, the government is showing a total disregard for our soldiers.
Without the soldiers of this country, this country would be more fucked than it already is.

Not only is the government shitting all over our soldiers. It is also trying to enhance government powers and take away our freedoms.

For all the shit the soldiers have gone through, i think its about time we gave something back. We need to elect people that actually give a shit about our soldiers.

Secondly we need to elect a government that cares about what the soldiers fight for, which is our freedoms.

Yeah, I agree with you ihatecensorship I want to see our politicians stand in front of a tank.

Then again if every activist stood in front of a tank, we'd soon run out of them.

By the way, ihatecensorship when are you going to stand in front of a tank?

It was pretty funny up until the last line :)

btw guys if you vote for me as your prime minister i am happy to march off with the trooops to war.

I honestly believe its my duty as the leader of the country to go to war with the troops just like in the olden days.

Its 0ne of the first times pple have agreed so much with me, i almost feel popular :) but then i go to one of the polls about me and that brings me back to reality.

Im glad people agree on this, this country particularly our politicians really take for granted the sacrifices people have made for us except for on anzac day. I really think its important to remember them by trying to avoid war through diplomacy and by ensuring australia keeps its freedom even from our own government.

I think thats the best way we can honor our soldiers.

There are which are enforced, however there is just too much corruption.

Everyone needs "red bags" (bribes), even surgeons.

The Tiananmen Square incident just demonstrates how in practice socialism/communism becomes fascism.
Frankly, I can’t believe that they died trying to have a say, while in this country a majority of the population are politically apathetic. :(
