Topping internal and external (1 Viewer)

Ok is this right...................
If someone tops the internal marks and also the HSC do they recieve the same mark for their internal as their external
Say if someone got 93 for their external exam (which was the top mark for their school) and they top their inschool rankings will they recieve 93 for their assesment mark aswell because doesnt the person who tops the inschool ranking recieve the top external mark for their assesment mark
Correct me if im wrong and an explanation would be nice

In most cases 'Yes'. The exceptions would be where there are equal firsts in which case they usually give the average to both students as the assessment but they keep their exam mark.

The same thing happens to the last placed person in the group.
