TPC subjects pass mark: 50% or 55%? (1 Viewer)

Hi all

Have you ever heard of a TPC subject's pass mark being 55% (instead of 50%)?

A classmate of mine was knocked back from doing Biology B because he got exactly 50% in Biology A.. the teacher says the pass mark is 55%.. but other TPC teachers I have asked, seem surprised by this..

Biology pass mark is 55% but I am pretty sure it's the only one.

Is that a new development? I remember reading on the unit outline for Bio A that it was 50%, but that was in 2007.

I went to the first Bio class and they said the pass mark is 55% now, so yeah it must be pretty new.

lol i just passed the Lals A on 56%... i didn't attend much classes cause it was an early morning start, i would have to get up 6.30 to get there on time and after that class i wont have another until 3 hrs later.. so its like a 3 hr break :mad1:
