lol my snake friend:
"bro i didn't study at all for bio" ----> results come out ----> says he got 50% ----> teacher tells everyone top mark ----> turns out to be him
lols

I'm still so out of it after today. Funny because one of the perms and combs questions in my MX1 trial was a direct copy from a past HSC question (2000 Q6), just changed "a pack of 52 cards" to "a pack of 48 cards".

I think 68/70. But who knows, all the answers were like 0.5737494539593 so I have no idea if I made more sillies (I lost my marks because I realised after the exam I forgot to change the limits when I did an integration by substitution, lawl).

lol don't worry about it too much, as long as you knew how to do all the questions. did you not have time to check it or something?

lol the head teacher decided to add 2 marks to one question and take off one mark somewhere else, so our chem trial is out of the odd number of 101 now. *Shudders*

The test was ridiculously easy though, the question 14 was a joke.

Finished in 1 hour 10 mins. My checking isn't that reliable though, I need to get better at it.

yeah it's a skill in itself. In fact the mark I lost in my 3U half yearly was because i didnt check it efficiently. Out of the 8 questions in the exam, I only had time to check the first 7, although i checked them in great detail because i had so much time remaining, and found no mistakes. thought i would be fine for q8, but as it turned out i ended up making a trivial mistake on the one question i didnt check, which will now cost me my rank. such is life.

Do you just look through your working or something? I found it best to decide which questions are most likely to induce silly errors and do them a second time from scratch, covering my initial working (doing this for as many as possible given the time constraint, and something even triple checking things).

hahaha oh i thought you created a new function which was tanx multiplied by lnx or something. thought that was pretty cool of you, but turns out it meant thanks :(
