Trial Results.

So now that some schools have finished their trials, I figured some people might have some marks to share.

So, post up your marks here.

English Advanced: 93% 1st
Mathematics: 88% 2nd
Biology 96% 1st
Chemistry 86% 1st
Modern 94% 1st
EE1 84% 2nd

Pretty happy with all my marks. I made too many stupid mistakes in maths though, and i didnt study enough at all for chem as it was my last exam lol. And bio was ridiculously easy since our teacher told us everything that was going to be in it (he always does, kinda annoying lol)! I was pleasantly suprised by modern as I thought i had gone badly!

Overall, im pretty happy with my marks...

Eng Std - 56/85 - 68.5%
G.Maths - 83%
Art - 31/50 - 62%
dnt - 30/30 - 100% - so far anyway - they've lost the multiple choice section
cafs - 77%

I did pretty bad. My results were:

Ancient History- 75% (equal 6th out of 60)
Modern History- 75% (9/19)
English Advanced- 61% (equal 44/74)
Legal Studies- 54% (5/13)

It doesn't matter that i did bad in any of these because basically everyone did badly, so i still kept a relatively high ranking.

kloudsurfer also goes to my school, and she is the only one that actually did well across all of her subjects. Everyone got a low mark, or didn't go as they should have in at least one subject.

apparently the multiple choice answer sheets are locked in the print room - which seems to be locked all the time lol. on tuesday my teacher said he would go and get them when they went up to staff meeting (aka, morning tea) but i havent had dnt since then - i will find out tomorrow whether he got them.

The reason kloudsurfer got such good rankings is because basically everyone did badly, myself included (i go to the same school), whereas she did well across the board. Does anyone else know and want to share their results.

Those marks and ranks ARE pretty impressive regardless of the rest of your grade's performance!

I haven't got marks yet but I'll make some predictions (not in numbers)!

English: average
Maths: below average
Economics: below average.. if I'm lucky I'll pass
Legal Studies: also below average.. and also lucky if I pass
Society & Culture: undetermined as I haven't done the exam for that yet

But anyway, I go to an average public school so my marks/ranks arent that impressive compared to all you other BoS people who go to selective schools and stuff. And I dont think ill be getting 100 lol.

Lol dw I know redbeard and dont think he meant to diss me or anything. (and if he did ill just go ninja on him in our next modern history lesson or something...) I think hes just pointing out the fact that everyone in the year did go pretty crap (eg all four of our ancient classes got yelled at cos no one got a band six for the first time in years! lol). I think everyone was just unprepared, which is understandable since they moved our trials to before the holidays and took away half yearlies, so everything was kinda screwey this year...
