when solving trig equation what does things like this mean:
solve for 0<x<360 or
solve for -180<x<180 or
solve for 0<x<pi

it means within that domain
ie any thing outside that would not be a solution

i think you meant " solve for 0<x<360degrees" etc.
that limits the no. of soln you get as trigs are periodic functions which would have infinitely many soln with the restrition of domain

btw, don't worry too much about it cos you'll learn it in yr11

yup and then later on you can learn about pi :D
