hai guys.

so should i get either a tailored...

tuxedo (two button, two piece with the formal finish). (with a bow tie)

or just a 2 peice 2 or 3 button suit.

i don't like 3 peice suits, unless im the best man at a wedding or something.

it's for formals, weddings, and formal parties.

Black Tux with and then black or white tie depending on how formal the event is. People who wear business suits to Formals are noobs.

is this to rent or buy?
Why rent a dinner suit for $99 when you can get a brand new tailer made dinner suit for $89?! Genuine Leather Jackets, $159. Men's and boys suits, $89 dollars!

Ahha yeah I know! :)
I agree with Riet, a suit is a long term investment. It's better off to buy one for $230, then pay a rental fee of $99 each time you need a suit. That would be pointless, but I don't know whatever floats your boat.

Aha I found a cheap male formal wear website, the dearest was like $750.
Also I hear rivers have disposable suits if interested

For a Charcoal dinner suit? $2000. I could just not spend any money on anything for the next 10 weeks.

so wot extras should i get?

should i get 1 vent or two.
should i pay more for silk lining? (normally polyester)
should i get lining in the trousers
should i get any pleats on the pants, or leave it flat front.
should i get cuffs on the pants?

any other extras?
should i get a waist vest as an extra?
or is that too old fashioned.

i don't think i'd ever wear that anyway except if i was a best man.

Silk lining, side vents and pleats. Don't bother with lining on the trousers. Vest or not depends on the weight of the suit, if its heavy you will be too warm most of the year (being Australia and all), you may be better off with a lighter jacket and a vest.
Edit: Cuffs look better IMO, but the width of them depends on your height. The pants should fit so that they look the right length when standing up. Ask the tailor.
