Hello! (To all UAC 2008 applicants)

What course and uni. offers do you expect to receive?
Even though 6 days left until offers, how do you feel about it?

To me, I feel panic and expected. I have done my best all I could do in last year. I believe UOW and UWS can both offer me.

According to the UAC website, there are more than 78000 applicants should receive more than 62000 offers (last year was 59312). I hope I can be good luck.

May the force be With you :)

After 17/1 9pm, can you please post your offer details? such as Courses and Uni

The real question is: "Is the force with you?"

So i didn't know where to post this so i'll plonk my question here..........!
I was wondering about late offers after the main ones, i read on the UAC site that there is a limited time span to change preferences to other degrees after the main offer comes out, Does anyone know if there are many late offers?
Do you think there would be any for law at ANU? I'm an interstate student who exceeded expectations (my own that is) and now i am being tempted by double degrees where before i was content with a straight economics or arts degree..... ! But really is just fanciful anyway
Sorry about the ramble hope someone can help

Ring them. Ask them.

The short answer though: yes.

Cf. http://www.uac.edu.au/pdf/2006_uai_coffs_csp_late.pdf

Last year's Late Round cut-off for B Laws / B Comm at ANU was 96.5. None is listed for the B Laws / B A double, so I cannot do anything but assume that there were no more places left after the Main Round.

Obviously, the university staff themselves should have a slightly clearer picture.

First of all, how do you know I am a member of UK Student room?

Second, I may no longer log on Student Room because I completed A-levels, unless I re-sit.

Wow, so this thread has rather left the orginal post. :)
Thanks for your excellent help I Am Here!
I am victorian(!) I'm hoping to get into Arts at Melb Uni. I was more curious than actually considering ANU but i might give a ring anyway. All the best with offers everyone..soon our fate will be decided

Me too!! I am both Victorian and New South Welsh..^^ You know I applied through VTAC and UAC and wait for main offers next week...Good luck then mate. I am same as you that, I wanna get into ANU but my parents don't allow me and my A-level grades are lower ( UAI is only 76 if my grades are converted)..

So I will study ANU after study at UWS, UOW or La Trobe.

The only ways to find out your offer are online and in the paper.

You can buy newspapers (SMH, The Australian or Herald SUn) at 7 - 8pm before 9pm. Unlike VTAC, which allows you to use SMS for receiving Offers

My cousin said the uni. may give place preference for Year 12 first and then non-year 12, was it true?

Can non-year 12 students beat year 12 student?
