You should be able to pull off about 94 UAI with those results.

Yeah...so?

But her ranks are pretty poor (no offence).

Her ranks suggest that she is probably quite below the average of that school. If we assume that median UAI for the 3rd top school to be high 97 or low 98, she should be really getting like 95 or 94.

But realistically she should get about 94+, if not low 95.

You shouldn't be slack. Different people are good at different things.

lots of people dont know how to study maths. some people think writing out summaries, remembering formulas, listening in class, reading the textbook is what it takes to learn maths, coz it works for them in history, bio and english where you lay on your bed and read the book... right?

but maths is totally different. it requires you to sit at a desk and table, and DO the problems, the more problems you do, the more easy it is to recognise what to do when faced with a new problem.

also maths builds upon foundations, if you have poor basic maths skills, it is very hard to learn more advanced stuff.

haha thankyou that makes me feel better my mum is convinced il get like 80 even though i didnt think i would and its stressing me out

yh i agree with the maths thing. i didnt do any work until year 11 and it reflected on my final maths mark because no matter how much maths you do its hard when you dont have those foundations whereas history etc the topics change so i just started studying in year 12 and was sweet
