Hi i go to a selective skool which is ranked somewhere in the top 50, and i really need to have an idea of wat UAI ill approx. get. These are my half yearly marks and the course averages.

Maths 2u: 90% Av: 66%
Maths Ext1: 73% Av: 68%
Physics: 81% Av: 72%
Chemistry: 77% Av: 66%
Adv English: 48% Av: 55% rank: 65/95 lol
Modern History: 58% Av: 64%

The school you go to doesn't matter when UAC calculates your UAI.

i go to a privite school it is pretty small
english standars 3/18 65%
maths (2unit) 5/19 69%
physics 5/11 74%
chemistry 4/5 68%
s.d.d 4/16 78%

A mark of 48% in Adv English and 50 something in Modern will not get 95 UAI.

For a selective school, the average for modern history is shocking.

NoOoOo not 75! well tell me wat mark i should get for english adv. in my HSC in order to get at least 90 in my UAI. History is onli gonna count 1unit so im not too worried about it although i would still like to go really good in it. So around wat mark for english adv. and wat mark for history?

i think u will be able to get 90+ uai for sure, since ur school is in the top 50. Its just a matter of how well u compare with the others i guess, is ur school fully selective? or comprehensive?

ok.. if your worried about your english mark dont be...

u go to a selective school... a guy last year failed his assesments got like 100/102 and got 80 for English....

it can be done... if your coming in top half... i reckon 85-90

my skool is mostly selective since all of the others dropped out in yr10... so do all of u reckon dat if i get, say, 80 for english in my HSC and i get in the low band 5s for phys and chem, and i get around 90 for Maths 2u, and 45/50 for 3u maths dat i will get at least 90 in my UAI?

hey Newbie also history of course hehe i just 4got to write it... say i get like 75% for history and its gonna count 1unit
So:
English: 80%
Phys: low band 5
Chem: low band 5s
Maths 2u: 90%
Maths Ext1: 45/50
History: 75%
